Monthly Income Report – November 2013 – Adsense and Affiliate Earnings Stay Hot

“The results described here are my own and, therefore, are not typical. Individual results may vary based on a variety of factors.”

Hopefully, these income reports will help motivate and encourage you while you build your passive income streams. They show that you can recover from any pothole on the road to passive income success. Please note the monthly numbers have been adjusted to reflect ANY refunds and expenses thereby leaving only my net profit.

Let’s review Novembers’ income:

Amazon Sales

You will notice that my Amazon “Total Orders” took a dip, but overall revenue and profit went up from last month which was a result of  selling higher-priced items. Even though the higher priced items did push my expenses up, my profit margin for those items is substantial, so I can absorb the cost with relative ease.

November 2013 Amazon Sales Revenue: $1393 (Amazon Total Sales – numbers rounded up to the nearest dollar)
November 2013 Total Cost/Expenses: $476 (simply put, for now, this my cost for products, packaging, shipping, business-related purchases and any)
November 2013 Amazon Sales Net Profit: $917 (up from last month)

Below, you will see my upcoming December deposits from Amazon:

november2013-amazon-sales

There were seventy-two (72) total orders for the month of November, therefore:

Total Orders = 72 orders (down 8 from October)
$917 (Total Net Profit)/ 72 orders = $12.73 per order (up from October)

Amazon Affiliate Commissions

My Amazon Affiliate commissions for November jumped a bit from October and could have been higher had Amazon shipped all of the orders prior to December 1st. Regardless, I’m very pleased with their affiliate program and am in the process of building more Amazon review sites.  In November, my total commissions were around $165.19.

Now, here is what I earned from my niche site, portableswasherdryercombo.com:

Amazon Items Shipped = 41 (up from October)
Amazon Commissions = $165.19 (up from September)

Adsense Earnings = $34.43 (up from September)

november2013-adsense

Total November Earnings From Niche Site = $199.62 (up from October)

Let’s combine them all:

Total Amazon Sales Profit = $917
Total Amazon Commissions = $165.19
Total Adsense Earnings = $34.43
*Total VA Expense and SEO Expenses = $293
Total November Profit = $823.62

$823.62/720 minutes total (12hrs.) = $68.63 per hour (up from last month)

$68.63 per hour sounds great, but preparing and packaging orders is not what I consider passive income, rather active income. Once I transition my product fulfillment process to Amazon, then it can be considered true passive income. Need one more month of 50+ orders each and the transition will begin….blah, blah, blah.

*VA’s (Virtual Assistants) have been helping me with my social media plan while I’ve brought in an SEO team to help with my niche sites and other sites I’m currently working on.

I’ve just recently started back up with the Amazon affiliate program and I have to say I can’t wait to get back into the earning zone again!

I would definitely recommend Amazon affiliates to anyone who has or ever will own a blog due to the huge amounts you can earn if you work it right on your blog!

Agreed….I keep telling people that if you are allowed to be an affiliate in your state, go for it.

Do you have any tips for earning money with adsense ads? I’m getting better with my Amazon Affiliate ads (probably from reading this blog) but not having a whole lot of success with Adsense…
